Chiptune concerts and panel this weekend at PAX East
Going to PAX East in Boston this weekend? Great! I’ll be there too, carrying a bag filled with Game Boys and terrible junk food that I’ll regret eating later. But more importantly, in coordination with BOSTON8BIT and MAGFest, I’ll be leading a chipmusic panel on Saturday at 10:30AM in the JamSpace room (Rm 309) of the Hynes Convention Center, joined by a panel of local musicians who will share their experiences incubating Boston’s burgeoning chipmusic scene.
Afterwards, we’re going to rock the joint six ways till Sunday with not one, but two chiptune concerts, right smack dab in the middle of PAX. And if all goes according to plan, we might be playing outside too. Because, you know, no one’s done that at PAX before.
