5.10.10 - Zen Albatross + DMDS w/ Adventure Kid & sylcmyk
My allies from chiptune collective Cheese ‘N Beer have set me up to play another free NYC show, and this one’s going to be super-special for a number of reasons:
1. I’ll be playing with both chip/jazz fusion keyboardist sylcmyk (New York) and low-bit electro popper Adventure Kid (Sweden) They are both incredibly rad.
2. Half my set will be a mostly-unrehearsed collab with Drum Machine Dating Service. I’m still not sure how all of this warm, sparkly pop music we’ve been working on will transition into my usual set of abrasive dance music, but it’s definitely going to be something you should see.
3. The flyer (above) is awesome. It was made by Adventure Kid.
