MAGFest Musings
MAGFest. Four days of concerts, video games and awesome people. Last year’s MAGFest changed my life, and this year’s MAGFest reaffirmed my convictions. I can’t even begin to articulate how amazing this weekend has been. As it’s been said, MAGFest is one of those things you just need to experience to understand. No amount of amazing photographs or videos can fully capture it. Of course, this doesn’t mean that I won’t damn well try!
As expected, the weekend flew by in an almost surreal fashion. Concerts were rocked, arcade cabinets were played, $11 lo mein was eaten, giant circle-pit Capoeira dance-fights were fought. I even got a chance to play my very first live chiptunes set at the Late Night Chiptunes Concert on Friday night! Even better, I got to meet Destructoid Community members Adam ‘Lovely’ Dork, AgentMOO and Hitogoroshi! I have over 60 photos and 4 hours of footage from the weekend’s festivities, so I’ll be tantric blogging for the next few days in order to bring you as much MAG-ness as possible. Stay tuned.
